Paddle Planet opened its doors in Encinitas over a decade ago, out of a love of being on the water. Our staff can be found surfing and paddling throughout North San Diego. We specialize in stand up paddleboard surfing — we like to call it stand up surfing — and we're here to help you get on the water like we do.

The New Deal
A performance longboard shape with a shortboard-style thin rail and concave underneath — fast and responsive off the tail with locked-in nose rides up front.
B-Line Twin
A performance-driven twin fin SUP surf board — highline speed with sharp, transitional turning. Three fin boxes set back and clustered for a true twinnie feel.
Spice
The quiver killer — bevelled rails, a wing tail, and a concave bottom for rail carving, speed through sections and instant drive out of turns. Ridden by Zane Schweitzer to a US National title.
Striker
The ultimate all-around board. Low nose rocker for occasional nose riding and great flat-water paddling, with tail rocker and a 2+1 fin setup for solid small-to-medium wave performance.
Greyhound — Ghost Carbon
Joe Bark's newest prone shape and the current race winner. A 14' board with an Unlimited-style nose — the glide, speed and cutting hull of an Unlimited without the extra length.
Lava Fixed
The 1-piece Lava — the pick when you want the best performance out of the shape and you're the only one using it. Lightest of the three builds, no joints, no play.
